About The Position

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide home-based care. Occupational Therapists help patients with debilitating conditions improve their ability to perform everyday tasks at home. They use treatments to develop daily living skills and basic motor functions, and help patients compensate for loss of function. They provide skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach family members and other members of the health care team. Services are delivered according to physicians’ orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the employee practices.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of one year of experience is preferred; less experience may be accepted with Regional Vice President and/or Regional Director of Therapy Services approval based on prior experience setting.
• Medicare home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
