About The Position
HealthPro Heritage is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist for a highly rated senior living and assisted living facility in Bloomington, Indiana. The schedule is true PRN, as needed, and the pay range is $57–$62 per hour. The Occupational Therapist evaluates clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities; develops individualized treatment plans; and helps clients improve functional abilities and daily activities. The role includes educating clients and families about adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, maintaining compliant documentation, and advocating for clients’ needs and access to resources and services. Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
- Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients’ goals and enhance their functional abilities.
- Educate clients and their families on improving daily activities, including use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Advocate for clients’ needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
