About The Position

FOX Rehabilitation is hiring Occupational Therapists in Florham Park, New Jersey, to provide one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living settings. Clinicians use the Geriatric House Calls™ model to help patients improve mobility, independence, wellness, and quality of life. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule and build lasting patient relationships. Clinicians may incorporate telehealth and other virtual care into their schedules. Care settings include private residences, Senior Living Communities, Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. The position involves evaluations, individualized plans of care, evidence-based treatment, documentation in FOX’s EMR, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and education for patients, caregivers, and senior living staff. FOX offers full-time, part-time, and PRN/Fox Flex employment pathways; new graduates are eligible for the Emerging Professionals Mentor Program. FOX is a clinician-operated practice focused on meaningful relationships, evidence-based care, and its mission to abolish ageism. In New Jersey, the standard base pay range for a full-time role is $70,000–$95,000 annually, with an opportunity to earn more. Part-time and FOX Flex (PRN) compensation is prorated. Requirements

Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting 25–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly; performing CPR; assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility; repositioning patients; standing and walking for extended periods; climbing stairs; and performing therapeutic activities.
Ability to wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.
Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
Document effectively in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists.
Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
