About The Position

Rehab Without Walls® is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to support our outpatient neuro rehabilitation clinic in Portland, Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, one-on-one care while working collaboratively within a skilled interdisciplinary team. You’ll help patients build independence and functional skills in a structured clinical environment designed to support recovery. This opportunity is ideal for OTs seeking PRN flexibility with meaningful clinical engagement.

Requirements

• A licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a college or university with an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current, unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist by state in which practicing
• Current CPR Certification
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interaction
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods
• Additional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times

Nice To Haves

• Experience in outpatient or neuro rehabilitation preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions in an outpatient neuro rehab setting.
• Support patients in developing functional skills to improve independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, speech therapists, and clinical staff to meet patient-centered goals.
• Provide cognitive, ADL, and functional training interventions tailored to each patient.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members
• Communicates with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes
