Requirements
- Active South Dakota Occupational Therapist License required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong communication and patient care skills required
- Ability to work independently and within a healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional mobility and ADLs
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy plans and adaptive techniques
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and therapy protocols
