About The Position
Heartline Staffing is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for a permanent, direct-hire position with an established hospital in Sierra Vista, Arizona. The on-site role reports to the Program Director and includes patient evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation care. The schedule will be discussed during the interview.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice (Arizona).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong clinical documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care.
- Familiarity with rehabilitation documentation systems.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence and activities of daily living.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and assistive equipment.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable safety and regulatory standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
