About The Position
SmileMore Dental, part of Imagen Dental Partners, is seeking a General Dentist to join its patient-centered, technology-driven practice in Oro Valley, Arizona. The role involves providing general and cosmetic dentistry to patients of all ages in a busy practice, with clinical autonomy and a focus on high-quality patient care. The opportunity is open to experienced dentists and recent graduates seeking mentorship. The practice uses dental technologies including CEREC and CBCT and provides a range of services, including gum disease and periodontal care, cosmetic and pediatric dentistry, sedation dentistry, TMJ-TMD care, digital X-rays, laser dentistry, intraoral imaging, oral cancer screening, teeth whitening, Suresmile®, sleep apnea and snoring prevention, and dental implants. Requirements
- DDS or DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Current, valid state license to practice dentistry in good standing, or eligibility for licensure.
- Certifications required by the state, such as CPR and DEA credentials.
Responsibilities
- Examine and diagnose patients, prescribe treatment, and provide or direct others to provide oral health care in the patient's best interest.
- Contribute to a team-oriented, collegial environment by working with clinical and non-clinical staff as needed.
- Follow policies, protocols, and procedures in compliance with current accepted professional standards.
- Develop clinical skills and knowledge through continuing education and training opportunities.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives as needed.
