About The Position
Westside is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for its Oak Lawn Clinic in Oak Lawn, Illinois. The position works weekday evenings, Monday through Friday, from 3 PM to 7 PM, serving pediatric clients. The therapist will work with a multidisciplinary team that includes Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Clinical Counselors, and ABA professionals. The role offers opportunities to build skills and specialize in areas such as Sensory Integration Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Pediatric Mental Health.
Requirements
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Occupational therapy licensure or license eligibility in the state of Illinois.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Assess clients for adaptations and determine when special equipment is necessary.
- Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop clients’ fine motor, cognitive, language, self-care, regulation, and other skills.
- Support and guide clients’ families so they can foster the behaviors and practices used in treatment.
