Occupational Therapist (SIGN ON BONUS) - Clemson, SC
About The Position
FOX Rehabilitation is hiring Occupational Therapists to provide one-on-one care to older adults in Clemson, South Carolina, and surrounding communities. Care is delivered in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care, through FOX’s Geriatric House Calls™ model. Clinicians may also incorporate telehealth and other virtual care when appropriate. Occupational Therapists evaluate patients, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment to support wellness, mobility, longevity, functional independence, and quality of life. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule, build lasting patient relationships, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. FOX describes itself as a clinician-operated practice focused on meaningful relationships, evidence-based care, and abolishing ageism. Full-time, part-time, and PRN/Fox Flex pathways are described in the posting; new graduates are eligible for the Emerging Professionals Mentor Program.
Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
- Ability to wear PPE when required.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living communities.
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
- Document in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
- Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
- Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
