About The Position

This posting is for multiple part-time, day-shift Occupational Therapist openings in Acute Care Rehab at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, Washington. The position is employed by Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Medical Center and works under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager. The Occupational Therapist Clinician plans and administers treatments for patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. The clinician helps patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. The role collaborates with clinicians across disciplines, rehabilitation nurses, and physicians to support the best possible patient outcomes. Employees are expected to interact pleasantly, respectfully, and courteously with patients, families, staff, and visitors, and to represent the hospital positively.

Requirements

Education sufficient to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
Washington Occupational Therapist License upon hire.
National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
