About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in a dynamic inpatient rehabilitation environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload focusing on rehabilitation for stroke, pulmonary, amputee, and orthopedic patients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
- Current TX Occupational Therapy license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized treatment to patients in accordance with their specific rehabilitation goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and strategies for improving daily living skills.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of rehabilitation protocols.
