About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for an outpatient position in Weatherford, TX. This full-time role focuses on Orthopedics, Oncology, and Lymphedema. The position is part of the ReVital program, an innovative oncology rehabilitation program offered exclusively by Select Medical, aiming to establish comprehensive cancer rehabilitation as a standard of care. The network consists of over 900 specially trained, multidisciplinary therapists who collaborate with oncologists and patients to develop personalized rehabilitation plans.

Requirements

• Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Occupational Therapy
• Current Occupational Therapy State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
• CPR required
• Outpatient adult orthopedic experience (willing to consider level II fieldwork)

Nice To Haves

• Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
• Lymphedema experience and/or certification (student rotations considered)

Responsibilities

• Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
• Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing OTs
• Complete and maintain required trainings
• Maintain compliance with government regulations
• Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients
