About The Position
Desert Springs Post Acute, soon to be Willow Springs Post Acute, is seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist to join their rehabilitation team. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a facility focused on growth, innovation, and delivering outstanding patient-centered care. The Occupational Therapist will play a critical role in helping patients regain the skills, confidence, and independence needed to return to their highest level of function. The position involves evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, and other conditions that impact their ability to safely and effectively perform essential life activities.
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to develop meaningful patient relationships
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive patient evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals
- Address functional limitations related to daily living activities
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and adaptive techniques
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and physician teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning
Benefits
- Competitive compensation ranging from $58.00-$65.00 per hour DOE
- $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid after six months of employment
