About The Position

UE Children's Services is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join their team at a modern pediatric outpatient clinic located at 2211 Executive Dr., Hampton, VA. This role offers a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment, supportive leadership, and opportunities for professional growth. The clinic utilizes a family-centered approach to care and provides flexible scheduling for therapist roles. The position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends, offering a chance to grow with an expanding organization.

Requirements

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Active and unrestricted Virginia Occupational Therapy license.
Current NBCOT certification.
Strong communication, organization, documentation, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a pediatric outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

Complete comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments.
Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans based on each child's strengths and needs.
Provide evidence-based interventions addressing fine-motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-care, and functional participation skills.
Monitor progress and update treatment plans, goals, and recommendations as clinically appropriate.
Educate parents and caregivers on home strategies, carryover activities, and therapeutic recommendations.
Collaborate with SLPs, PTs, BCBAs, physicians, educators, and other members of the care team.
Complete accurate, timely, and payer-compliant clinical documentation.
Maintain professional licensure, certification, and continuing-education requirements.
