About The Position

NEXT Occupational Therapists care for people with general, upper-extremity, and neurologic conditions that affect their ability to perform activities of daily living. They work as part of a team to provide creative, compassionate solutions for patients. The role focuses on helping people in independent, assisted, and memory care communities remain active and engaged so they can enjoy life to the fullest.

Requirements

• Be outgoing, personable, and confident.
• Have exceptional communication skills and be coachable.
• Be self-directed and comfortable working independently.
• Have working knowledge of Medicare documentation and billing and coding practices.
• Graduate from an ACOTA-accredited occupational therapy program.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
• Hold state licensure.
• Hold Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Modality certification preferred.
