About The Position

NEXT Occupational Therapists care for people with general, upper-extremity, and neurologic conditions that affect their ability to perform activities of daily living. They work as part of a team to provide creative, compassionate care and solutions for patients. The role focuses on helping patients function at their best in daily activities and supporting people living in independent, assisted, and memory care communities to remain active and engaged.

Requirements

• Outgoing, personable, and confident.
• Exceptional communication skills and coachability.
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently.
• Working knowledge of Medicare documentation and billing/coding practices.
• Graduate of an ACOTA-accredited occupational therapy program.
• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• State licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Modality certification preferred.
