About The Position

Step Up Family Services is hiring an Intensive In-Community (IIC) Therapist to provide in-home and community-based therapeutic services to youth and families. The therapist works directly with children, adolescents, and their families to address behavioral health needs, strengthen functioning, develop coping strategies, and support individualized treatment goals. The role requires fluency in both Spanish and English to provide therapeutic services, communicate with families, and complete clinically appropriate interactions in both languages. The clinician conducts regularly scheduled sessions, develops and maintains treatment plans, delivers appropriate interventions, completes required documentation, and collaborates with families and treatment team members. Clinicians build a caseload around their availability and geographic preferences, with support from Step Up's clinical and operational teams. Services are delivered in clients' homes and communities, and clinicians travel to assigned clients within an agreed-upon service area. The greatest service need is generally after school and in the early evening, though schedules vary by family needs. This is W-2 employment with per diem, part-time, and full-time opportunities. Compensation is $50–$60 per hour for LSW/LAC clinicians and $70–$80 per hour plus bonus for LCSW/LPC clinicians. Candidates must hold and maintain an active, applicable New Jersey license: LSW, LAC, LCSW, or LPC.
