About The Position
The Occupational Therapist II provides a full range of occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning. This role involves clinical patient care within an academic health system setting.
Requirements
- Required to float between UCI Health locations as needed
- Occupational Therapy License or proof of eligibility from California Board of Occupational Therapy
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a licensed occupational therapist
- If assigned to work with infants and children aged 0 to 21, CCS paneling/approval will be required within one year of hire if qualified for CCS paneling requirement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Basic Life Support
- Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
