About The Position

Discovery at Home is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Cape Coral, FL. This role primarily involves home visits with potential for some caseload within assisted and independent living communities. The patient population is mainly geriatric, with most cases under Medicare Part A Home Health, and some Part B. The position offers flexible scheduling, with availability required Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Weekend shifts are optional. Requirements

Graduation from an Occupational Therapy program.
Eligible for FL state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of 1 year of prior home care experience.
Completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements (contingent upon employment).
Fingerprinting and background screening through the AHCA Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

Conduct home visits with geriatric patients.
