The position requires thorough documentation, adherence to clinical practice guidelines, and flexibility with work schedules. Collaboration with external individuals such as providers, case managers, and family members is expected. Depending on the facility and location, the work may focus on individuals in post-acute, long-term care, and home health care environments. There may also be opportunities to supervise assistants, aides, and students, and to provide ongoing education to peers.
