About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist for a full-time day position in Home Care. This role involves evaluating, planning, and providing occupational therapy treatment programs for adult patients in their home settings, covering areas such as neuro, orthopedic, general medicine, and dysphagia/swallow. The position is part of NYP/Lawrence Home Care of Westchester, a certified home health agency. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- New York State Occupational Therapist License within one year of hire, or NYS Limited Permit if applicable
- Knowledge of Occupational Therapy practices
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Live within a commutable distance to NYP
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience in home care, nursing home setting, hospital and or rehabilitation facilities
- Master’s Degree
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification
- AOTA Membership
