About The Position

Outpatient orthopedic clinic seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist – Hand Therapist. Hand therapy experience required with 1+ year of outpatient experience. Treat upper‑extremity conditions including post‑operative fractures, tendon injuries, and sprains/strains. Splinting experience preferred. Work in a fully equipped outpatient setting alongside experienced clinicians and hand surgeons. Join a stable, growing organization with a strong national Hand Therapy program.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy
State Occupational Therapist license (or license eligible)
Minimum 1 years hand therapy experience.
CPR certification
Valid state driver’s license

Nice To Haves

Splinting experience preferred

Responsibilities

Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
Enhance, develop and expand relationships with referral sources and maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.
Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how OTs may practice and whom they may supervise.
Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with the approval of the manager and referring physicians per HIPPA guidelines.
Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations.
Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and demonstrate completion of patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements in an appropriate and timely manner.
