About The Position

ReBound Physical, Occupational & Hand Therapies is a growing private practice in the Pacific Northwest, specifically in Bellingham & Lynden, WA, seeking a positive, dynamic, and self-motivated Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist with Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credentials. This role involves providing exceptional care to patients with upper extremity conditions, including post-operative, fractures, tendon repair, repetitive stress, multi-trauma, occasional wound care, and serial casting. The ideal candidate will have strong manual therapy and evaluation skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for lifelong learning and creating an outstanding patient experience. The practice collaborates with leading surgeons and physicians in the region, offering a progressive, hands-on approach to treatment. This is a full-time position in an established clinic in Whatcom County, WA, offering a competitive salary and benefits package with incentives for exceptional performance.

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist/ Occupational Therapist or eligible to be licensed in Washington State.
  • Strong splinting skills and experience in postoperative and post-trauma shoulder, elbow and hand therapy is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be a licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist or eligible to be licensed in Washington State.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credentials.
  • At least 1-2 years of hand experience.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate each patient using a thorough and concise exam.
  • Prepare a written plan of care in a timely fashion (within 24 hours).
  • Document functional outcome tools as required by payers.
  • Supervise the implementation of each plan of care, coordinating treatment with support staff & working to ensure that your patients complete their full course of care.
  • Actively participate in ongoing marketing strategies and community engagement to promote the clinic and our services.
  • Be a proactive member of our team who brings new ideas and solutions to any problems that may arise.
  • Seek to continually grow and evolve professionally and as a member of our team.
  • Help foster a professional environment that is friendly and welcoming to everyone.
  • Develop appropriate programs to restore function and maximize independence, while treating clients with dignity, sensitivity, and encouragement.
