About The Position
Aegis Therapies is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide outpatient care at Etheridge House in Union City, Tennessee, serving residents in an assisted living and independent living community. The role offers the opportunity to work with higher-functioning residents, make a meaningful difference in their lives, and take a patient-centered approach to care. The assistant treats residents Monday through Friday in their rooms or in an on-site outpatient clinic, so travel to homes outside the building is not required. The position offers schedule flexibility, independence in creating a schedule, and opportunities to help market the clinic. Aegis Therapies provides clinical support, mentorship, education, and potential career advancement.
Requirements
- Current license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, or ability to obtain a license in the state of practice.
Nice To Haves
- Previous outpatient experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Treat residents in their rooms or in the on-site outpatient clinic.
- Help market the clinic.
- Create and manage a schedule while working independently.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient care.
