Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
About The Position
The Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides high-quality hand therapy services to patients and customers. The role includes supporting patient care across evaluation, treatment planning, treatment, re-evaluation, and discharge, along with appropriate communication. The assistant also supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, and maintains positive relationships with facilities, clients, and facility staff. The position is based at 4425 South Pecos Road in Las Vegas, Nevada (East Flamingo), and is full time. Compensation is $30–$40 per hour depending on years of experience, with an $8,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy Assisting.
- Within the last two years, completed a minimum of a Level II clinical rotation or fieldwork in hand therapy specific to the application of custom splinting for pre- and post-operative orthopedic care.
- National registration and state licensure or registration required.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Valid state driver’s license.
Responsibilities
