About The Position

White Blossom Care Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join its high-volume, in-house rehabilitation department in San Jose, in the Bay Area. The role offers exposure to a diverse resident population receiving orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and vascular rehabilitation. The rehabilitation gym is described as the largest in the Bay Area and includes advanced equipment and treatment modalities such as E-stim, Ultrasound, and Diathermy. Opportunities for PAM Certification are available. The position is offered with full-time, part-time, and PRN schedule options. Work schedules may include Monday–Friday, Tuesday–Saturday, Sunday–Thursday, or Thursday–Monday. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The center describes its therapy team as welcoming and collaborative, with seasoned clinicians and new graduates, and offers a community-focused environment with open-air patios and shared spaces.

Requirements

Current California COTA license in good standing.
Passion for geriatric care and a strong commitment to hands-on clinical growth.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality occupational therapy treatments in accordance with physician orders and OT direction.
Document daily treatments and weekly progress notes in compliance with state and board requirements.
Collaborate with nursing staff to train Restorative Aides and support ongoing patient mobility.
Communicate patient progress and discharge planning with the interdisciplinary team.
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on maintenance programs and safe discharge planning.
Maintain a clean, organized, and positive treatment environment.
