About The Position
The Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) is employed by the agency and is responsible for providing select occupational therapy interventions. This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist (OTR). The OTA will also report to and be supervised by the agency’s Director of Nursing (DON) or RN supervisor.
Requirements
- Current TX state license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA)
- Ability to service adult and pediatric patients.
- Current TB test or Chest X-Ray
- Active CPR
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year OTA experience preferable
Responsibilities
- Providing select occupational therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist (OTR).
- Reporting to and being supervised by the agency’s Director of Nursing (DON) or RN supervisor.
