Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the state of employment
- Minimum 1 year of OTA experience in an acute care setting required
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of patient care
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Delivering occupational therapy treatments in the home setting
- Monitoring patient progress and documenting outcomes
- Educating patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and equipment use
- Collaborating with therapists, physicians, and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Supporting patients in achieving their functional goals and maintaining independence
- Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with Medicare and agency standards
