About The Position

Garden City Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide prescribed therapeutic services within the scope of practice and under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Services are intended to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary disorders. The role must be performed in accordance with departmental and Hospital policies and applicable state and federal regulatory requirements, including Title 22 Sections 70517 and 70519.

Garden City Hospital is a community-focused, state-of-the-art medical facility with more than 300 licensed beds and a teaching hospital. It provides medical education to students, residents, and fellows, with residency and fellowship programs serving more than 80 trainees. Its staff includes more than 350 physicians across nearly every specialty.

Requirements

• Associate degree (COTA) from an accredited program.
• Current state Occupational Therapy certification.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities
