Occupational Therapist Assistant
About The Position
A facility near Florence, SC is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join their rehabilitation team! This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday. The role involves assisting occupational therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ independence with activities of daily living, mobility, and self-care. The OTA will provide therapeutic activities to improve patients’ strength, coordination, and motor skills while educating patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and the safe use of assistive equipment.
Requirements
- Must have completed an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a license in the state of South Carolina.
Nice To Haves
- Previous inpatient experience preferred.
Responsibilities
