Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (CAHEA/AMA/AOTA).
- Passed or eligible for the AOTA National Certification Exam.
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required.
- Access to reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of Home Health experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed occupational therapy services and skilled procedures to minimize physical disabilities and help patients reach their optimum level of independence.
- Conduct initial assessments, develop and modify maintenance plans, perform 30-day reassessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary home care personnel on care planning.
- Consult directly with physicians regarding changes in patient condition or treatment plans.
