About The Position

Responsible for providing on-site emergency care, acute injury care and case management for health-related issues, work related and non-work-related injuries and illness. Will be responsible for providing direct on site occupational health nursing to a specific site and remote guidance to field service colleagues as authorized by Federal/Local laws and under the direction of senior clinical management (GEHC medical director and nurse manager). Will be responsible for being a champion of positive and healthy work culture and deliver on projects at the site or regional level in health promotion initiatives in partnership with Benefits, EHS and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Valid state RN licensure and Basic Life Support certified
  • At least three years independent clinical experience in primary care or urgent care setting
  • Proficient in basic emergency response per BLS requirements, administering vaccinations and phlebotomy.
  • Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, and web-based systems/programs and electronic medical record systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior occupational medicine or emergency room/family practice related work experience
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) credential
  • Knowledge of FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, ADA, and OSHA regulations
  • Strong willingness to learn and keep up with pace of business needs and integration of AI into workflows.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to ensure excellent working relationships with community leaders, other clinical personnel, and employees up, down, and across the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: ability to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to be flexible and work with changing teams and priorities.
