About The Position
At Business Health Solutions (BHS), we are seeking an Occupational Health Manager who embodies intuitive leadership: someone who instinctively sees the big picture, maneuvers through complexity with confidence, and leads teams with both heart and precision. The Occupational Health Manager is a seasoned Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for setting policy, directing clinical operations, ensuring compliance, mentoring staff, and overseeing occupational health, environmental, and safety services. You will work directly with client leadership, translate goals into action, manage teams, and ensure achievement of both clinical and business outcomes.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- 5+ years experience in occupational health nursing
- Working knowledge of safety, ergonomics, toxicology, epidemiology, and regulations
- Strong skills in project management, data analysis, and technology use
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and critical thinking abilities
Nice To Haves
- Master’s Degree preferred
- COHN-S Preferred or obtain within 3 years of obtaining role.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily clinical operations while optimizing quality and resources
- Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to occupational health policies
- Supervise and mentor BHS site staff, supporting professional development and performance
- Oversee audits, surveillance compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proactively manage client relationships with a solution-driven approach
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on occupational health, safety regulations, and emerging trends
