About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the team in either Renton, WA or Seattle, WA. This position supports first shift operations in factory operations. The Renton site is known for its industry-leading efficiency in airplane manufacturing, having produced a significant number of commercial airplanes, including the 737 family and the P-8 aircraft.

Requirements

1+ years of experience performing Occupational Safety and/or Industrial Hygiene duties in an industrial environment
1+ years of experience working in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
1+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk
Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

Supports the planning, implementation and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes
Drafts health and safety programs that provide consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance
Investigates safety and health incidents and complaints
