About The Position
The Boeing Company is seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the team in either Renton, WA or Seattle, WA. This position supports first shift operations in factory operations. The Renton site is known for its efficiency in airplane manufacturing, having produced a significant number of commercial airplanes, including the 737 family and the P-8 aircraft.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience performing Occupational Safety and/or Industrial Hygiene duties in an industrial environment
- 1+ years of experience working in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
- 1+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- CAD/3D Printing Experience
- Experience with Public Speaking/ Presenting
- Experience with Project Management
- Experience with Rapid Prototyping/ Innovation
- Experience with Shop/ industrial experience
- Experience with Tool design
Responsibilities
- Supports the planning, implementation and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes
- Drafts health and safety programs that provide consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance
- Investigates safety and health incidents and complaints
