Occupational Hand Therapist - 5,000 Sign-on Bonus
About The Position
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Occupational Hand Therapist for a part-time with the option of full-time opportunity at our Carlsbad clinic. This role is with a therapist-owned and led outpatient therapy clinic, part of a supergroup of private practices. We pride ourselves on our "home away from home" philosophy, fostering a supportive, fun, and professional environment where everyone knows, likes, and trusts each other. Our leadership team is composed entirely of practicing PTs, ensuring a focus on patient care. The position involves working 2-3 days a week, and new graduates with clinical hand therapy experience are welcome to apply.
Requirements
- California OT License (Required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Hand therapy experience required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong operational and leadership skills to nurture team development.
- Excellent organizational skills to optimize efficiency.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Expertise in teaching and utilizing EMR software.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Requires manual dexterity and general strength and endurance.
- Routine lifting (5-35 lbs), carrying (5-10 lbs), pushing (5-150 lbs), and sustained gripping (40-50 lbs).
- Guarding lift loads of 120-140 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- PAM certification and HTC through the California Board of OT (CBOT) is a plus.
- New graduates with clinical experience in hand therapy are welcome to apply.
