Ignite Medical Resort Fort Worth is seeking passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists to join their state-of-the-art rehabilitation resort. This facility combines luxury, amenities, and high-quality care for rapid rehabilitation. The Occupational Therapist plays a vital role in resident and guest outcomes and overall experience, contributing to a compassionate and hospitable care-giving team. The role is for individuals who are dedicated, compassionate, dependable, and energetic.

Requirements

Occupational Therapist (OT)
Active applicable state licensure
Clean background check
Authorized to work in the United States of America

Responsibilities

Play a vital role in resident and guest outcomes and overall experience.
Provide rehabilitation services to patients with a variety of diagnoses including orthopedics, neurological conditions, falls, respiratory conditions, generalized weakness/deconditioning, and medical management.
Focus on helping patients return to their prior living situation or the next level of care, as this is a short-term facility.
Conduct 1-4 evaluations per day.
Perform 4-8 treatment sessions per day, averaging 35-50 minutes per session.
Utilize Nethealth and PointClickCare for documentation.
Utilize advanced technology such as Andago (robotic assisted over ground gait trainer), NeuroRehabVR (virtual reality headset system), ACP, E-stim/Ultrasound, Diathermy, OmniVR (virtual reality therapy system), Biodex Balance System SD, Scifit equipment, and Recumbent Bike.
