About The Position

The OCC Support Supervisor oversees the daily activities and performance of Operations Assistants under the direction of the OCC Support Manager. The role ensures the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the team’s work, provides guidance and coaching, supports training and process improvements, and helps maintain compliance with company procedures and standards.

The supervisor oversees Operations Assistants’ quality of work and the implementation of updates and training. The position may also provide Operations Assistant desk coverage as staffing requires and assist with other duties assigned by the OCC Support Manager and Leadership.

Requirements

• Some college and/or technical school is strongly desirable.
• Good working knowledge of Kalitta Air cargo operations.
• Attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work well with others in a supervisory capacity.
• Ability to read, write, and understand spoken and written English.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to give verbal and written directions to assigned staff.

Nice To Haves

• Recent experience as an Operations Assistant is strongly desirable.
• Previous leadership experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of information distributed by Operations Assistants, including email correspondence and operational messages.
• Provide direction and support to Operations Assistants as needed.
• Monitor team performance and maintain performance records and related documentation.
• Provide Operations Assistant desk coverage as staffing levels require.
• Develop and implement ongoing improvements to Operations Assistant training programs.
• Facilitate implementation of new projects, SOP updates, process improvements, and other departmental initiatives.
• Promote compliance with company policies and established procedures.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by the OCC Support Manager and Leadership.
• Oversee Operations Assistants’ quality of work and implementation of updates and training at the direction of the OCC Support Manager.
