Obstetrics and Gynecology Technologist (OB Tech) - Labor & Delivery
About The Position
Sentara is hiring an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB) Technologist at Sentara Leigh Hospital's L&D department in Norfolk, Virginia. This is a full-time, day shift position. Under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse, the OB Tech is responsible for assisting in nursing care and surgical services in the maternity services area. This includes providing patient care necessary for comfort, hygiene, data collection, and documentation, all performed within the scope of accepted standards of operating room and obstetrical practice, and within the scope of their education, training, and experience.
Requirements
- LPN or Surgical Technologist education & training required.
- If not an LPN, experience as Surgical Tech and CST preferred.
- BLS required within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year Prior OB/OR/Surgical Technologist experience REQUIRED.

- Experience as Surgical Tech and CST preferred if not an LPN.
