About The Position

Seeking a Locum Tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology physician for supplemental coverage at an inpatient facility in Livingston, TN. The coverage period is from December 24-28, 2026, with a 24-hour beeper call schedule. Responsibilities include handling call, admissions, rounding, and performing required procedures such as low-risk pregnancy management, routine vaginal deliveries, and C-sections. The department has 6 beds and is supported by 2 RNs and 1 Office Staff. The EMR system used is Medhost.

Requirements

• Active TN License or IMLC
• BC/BE
• PALS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage.
• Manage low-risk pregnancies and routine deliveries (vaginal).
• Perform complicated deliveries, including C-sections.
• Handle 1-2 admissions per day.
• Conduct rounding within the department.
• Respond to beeper calls within 15-20 minutes.
• Handle 2-4 phone consults.
• Manage a patient volume of 2-4.
