About The Position
Vancouver Clinic is seeking a full-time BC/BE Obstetrician Gynecologist to join their growing department in a Generalist position. The department is physician-owned, fostering a collegial, supportive, and caring environment committed to patient care and work-life balance. The OB/GYN department includes 20 Obstetrician Gynecologists, 15 Nurse Midwives, 5 Women’s Health APCs, and 2 Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians who collaborate to provide comprehensive care. Services are provided at local hospitals (PeaceHealth Southwest and Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center) and the clinic's state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center, offering a range of surgical procedures including abdominal, minimally invasive vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques.
Requirements
- BC/BE Obstetrician Gynecologist
- Full-time physician (0.8 – 1.0 FTE)
- Ability to work in clinic 4-5 days/week.
- Approximately 1 call day/week.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Offers are contingent on successful completion of background screen and immunization requirements.
Nice To Haves
- New clinicians have a 1-year guarantee of $366,000 (1.0 FTE)
- Up to $35,000 starting bonus
- Two-year partnership track position with a reasonable buy-in
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
- Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including abdominal surgery and minimally invasive vaginal, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques.
- Split work between clinic and call duties.
- Cover Labor & Delivery at one hospital.
- Back up the CNM group.
- Provide ER city call coverage.
