About The Position

Living Water Clinic is seeking board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physicians to join their growing, mission-driven women’s health department in California’s Central Valley. This role offers the opportunity to serve a largely bilingual and historically underserved patient population in agricultural communities, combining work in Rural Health Clinics with private practice settings. The position involves providing full-scope OB/GYN services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, gynecologic surgery, and outpatient women’s health. There are also opportunities for leadership, teaching within a planned residency program, and incorporating subspecialty interests. The clinic is faith-based, grounded in Christian values, and emphasizes team-based care and physician wellness.

Requirements

  • Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology, or board eligibility with a clear pathway to certification.
  • Active California medical license or eligibility for California licensure.
  • DEA registration.
  • An interest in serving underserved, rural, and bilingual patient populations.

  • Openness to teaching and mentorship as part of the planned residency program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope OB/GYN services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and cesarean sections.
  • Perform gynecologic surgery and comprehensive outpatient women’s health care.
  • Serve a largely bilingual and historically underserved patient population in agricultural communities.
  • Participate in a team-based care model, collaborating with primary care, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy teams.
  • Engage in teaching and mentorship opportunities as part of a planned residency program.
  • Incorporate subspecialty interests such as maternal-fetal medicine, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, colposcopy, or urogynecology.
  • Potentially take on leadership roles within the women's health department.
