Physician: Obstetric Anesthesiologist – Winfield, IL (NM Central DuPage Hospital)
About The Position
Provide patient care in obstetric and general anesthesiology for Northwestern Medical Group patients at Northwestern Medicine hospitals, offices, and other health care facilities as assigned. Maintain a clinical schedule at the days, hours, and locations needed to provide timely and comprehensive medical services, and provide on-call coverage as reasonably required. Refer patients who need specialized care to appropriate providers in the affiliated network when consistent with patient preference, insurer requirements, and the physician’s medical judgment. Participate regularly in practice unit meetings and quality assurance activities, and comply with billing, documentation, and related policies and procedures. Perform other duties consistent with the position as assigned by the President of Northwestern Medical Group or a designee. The position is 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, with a rotating shift. The listed annual salary range is $495,000 to $575,000.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree.
- Completion of subspecialty fellowship training in obstetric anesthesiology.
Responsibilities

- Comply with billing, documentation, and related policies, procedures, systems, and practices.
- Perform other duties consistent with the position as assigned by the President of Northwestern Medical Group or a designee.
