About The Position

Introductory class in Oboe techniques for Music Education students. Students shall demonstrate effective pedagogical skills and gain performing competence sufficient to teach the instrument in an elementary and secondary classroom environment. This is a 6-week course running from January 11, 2027, to February 26, 2027.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Music
  • Oboe teaching experience at the post-secondary or secondary level.
  • CV
  • Candidate Application Form (CAF)

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate in Music education
  • Professional experience teaching Oboe in non-institutional settings.
  • Names and Contact Information for Referees
  • Evidence of Good Teaching (may include but not limited to: Reference letters, teaching evaluations, list of student successes etc.)
  • Verification of highest degree
