About The Position

We are seeking an OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Fort Morgan, CO. This inpatient role involves providing call-only coverage for a 50-bed facility. The coverage period is from June 2026 onwards, with specific shifts needed in June 2026 and July 15 & 17-20. The physician will be responsible for 24-hour call shifts, 7a-7a, with an estimated 10-15 shifts per month. Patient volume varies based on deliveries, with an average of 15 deliveries per month. The patient demographics include Adult, Geriatric, and Adolescent populations. Admissions are required and vary. Support staff includes RNs, and general OB/GYN procedures are expected. 24/7 general surgery backup is available, with minimal urology backup two days a week. The EMR system used is Epic, and EMR training is required.

Requirements

• Active CO license or IMLC
• BC/BE in OBGYN (0-5 yrs of residency completion)
• DEA
• Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements
• Must be available for the stint detailed in the job description
• Self-Query NPDB Report (obtained in the last 30 days)
• BLS (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a) for OBGYN services.
• Manage patient care for adult, geriatric, and adolescent populations.
• Perform general OB/GYN procedures.
• Handle admissions as required.
• Collaborate with RN support staff.
• Attend to an average of 15 deliveries per month.
• Utilize the Epic EMR system.
• Complete required EMR training.
