About The Position

We are seeking an OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Hartsville, SC. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, with a focus on providing supplemental coverage. The physician will be responsible for a variety of duties including OB outpatient and inpatient care, emergent GYN surgeries, and ED consults. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center with a Level II Nursery and 160 beds. The coverage period is from October 14, 2026, ongoing, with a clinical shift schedule from Monday-Thursday, 8:30a-5p, and Friday, 8:30a-12p. Call is on a 24-hour beeper basis with a 10-minute response time. The annual delivery volume is approximately 540, with a patient volume of 15-25 per day. Rounding is included. Infants weighing less than 1,500 grams will be transferred to a higher level of care.

Requirements

• Active SC License
• Board Certified (BC)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Must be a local candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB outpatient and inpatient care.
• Perform emergent GYN surgeries.
• Conduct ED consults.
• Participate in rounding.
• Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage with a 10-minute response time.
