OBGYN Physician
About The Position
We are seeking an OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Burien, WA. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, requiring clinical duties and on-call coverage. The coverage period is ASAP and ongoing, with a schedule of 24-hour shifts (7a-7a), 3 shifts per week, for 2 weeks per month. The physician will manage labor and delivery patients, assist Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and Family Practice Obstetricians (FPOBs), and provide gynecologic coverage for the emergency department. Responsibilities include triage, rounding, and documentation using the Epic EMR system. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Active WA License or IMLC
- Active DEA Certification
- BLS Certification
- NPDB Report

Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour on-site call coverage for OB/GYN services.
- Manage labor and delivery patients, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Assist CNMs and FPOBs as needed.
- Provide GYN coverage for the emergency department and perform gynecologic surgeries.
- Participate in triage, rounding, and documentation using Epic EMR.
