Locum OBGYN Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
About The Position
Seeking a locum OBGYN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an outpatient clinic. This position requires immediate start for 6 months, with potential for extension. The role involves performing gynecological procedures, conducting well-woman visits, and providing prenatal care. While sonographers are available for early dating ultrasounds, the clinician will be responsible for third-trimester checks. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with optional weekend shifts. There are no on-call responsibilities. The anticipated patient volume is around 21-22 encounters per 8-hour day.
Requirements
- Board Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Valid and active California nursing licensure.
- Experience in obstetrics.
- Experience performing Pap smears and cervical cancer screenings.
- Experience conducting well-woman visits.
- Experience providing prenatal care.
- Experience performing third-trimester ultrasounds.
