About The Position

Join a thriving practice and make a difference as an OB/GYN Laborist/Hospitalist with Camellia Women's Health in Sacramento. Dignity Health partners with forward-thinking independent practices to deliver care. Camellia Women's Health has been a trusted provider of compassionate and comprehensive women's healthcare in the greater Sacramento area for over 40 years. They are a dynamic group of OB/GYNs and Nurse Practitioners dedicated to providing personalized care to a diverse patient population, including both Medicaid and commercially insured individuals. This is a hospitalist service with scheduling flexibility, offering OB Hospitalist coverage including high-risk obstetrics, Level III NICU access, and ER/floor GYN consults, including GYN emergency surgeries. The role offers 6 12-hr shifts per month OR 3 24-hour shifts, with the choice of working a combo of days and nights. The practice fosters continuous professional development through collaborative case discussions and skill refinement. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of post residency OBGYN experience
  • Completion of ACGME accredited training program(s)
  • Board certified or board eligible in Obstectrics and Gynecology
  • Excellent clinical and surgical skills
  • Must be comfortable working in a busy service and delivering high risk OB patients
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
  • Ability to consistently commit to a .5 schedule.
