About The Position

OB-GYN Hospitalist Opportunity – New Program Launch at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, CA. We are launching a brand-new OB-GYN Hospitalist program and are seeking four OB-GYN Hospitalists plus one OB-GYN Hospitalist Medical Director to help build and shape this exciting service line from the ground up. This opportunity offers the chance to define workflows, culture, and clinical excellence from day one in a premier Bay Area location. The role features predictable 24-hour in-house scheduling, supporting work-life balance. The clinical scope includes OB and GYN triage/surgery, labor & delivery management, obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, and inpatient consults. The hospital has approximately 1,200 births annually, a Level II NICU with Medical Director support from Stanford, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine support from Stanford. The Medical Director will provide clinical leadership, guide program development, and drive quality initiatives, with prior leadership experience preferred.

Requirements

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience
Strong clinical judgment and ability to thrive in a team-based model
Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Prior leadership experience preferred (for Medical Director role)

Responsibilities

Help define workflows, culture, and clinical excellence from day one.
